Jarrett
Bede Jarret was one of the best known of the English Dominicans in the twentieth century. Re was a famous preacher and a prolific writer of books. But his fellow Dominicans used to marvel and remark that he never appeared to be doing anything. If you went to see him in his cell, he was usually doing nothing. If you asked him what he was doing, he would reply, "Waiting to see if anyone came."
