May 6, The World Vocation day was observed in Dinajpur. The day began with Mass offered by Fr. Prosanto Gomes. In the evening there was a short life sharing and cultural program. Two Priests, several Nuns, Seminarians, lay people gave their life witnesses. More that two hundred people gathered to enjoy the sharing and cultural program that was held in the open stage in front of the Cathedral Church.
One seminarian shared (Manuel Hembrom 19 years old 2nd years seminarian) "I did not get any call from the God, but I am trying to discover the God's will within me." Sister Teresa Marandy (49 years old) shared her life. She told that during her childhood there was a strong & deep faith among the Christians. That time there was no Television, the performed many dramas presenting the life history of the Saints. Sister Teresa advised the young generation to follow the advices of the elder ones and read more the life history of the Saints.
The students of St. Philip's High School performed a small cultural program at the end. The cultural program ended with the thanks given by Fr. Raphael Murmu.
Bishop Moses is now in Italy. He went there along with other six bishops of Bangladesh to meet with the Holy Father on the occasion of Ad Limina.  His health condition is not good. Please pray for him.
